Jordanian studio Jondob Games targets Q2 2027 release for survival horror title Libi
Step into a decayed world filled with hostile creatures
Jordanian indie studio Jondob Games is preparing to release Libi, a survival horror game about a soldier who will do anything to save her kidnapped lover.
The game follows Libi and Edan, a soldier couple whose plans change when an undying Jestress takes Edan. Libi follows his trail into a decayed world filled with hostile creatures, scavenging for supplies and fighting to survive.
Players must manage limited resources, set traps, use firearms and blades, and find ways to deal with hard-to-kill enemies. The Jestress returns after each defeat, while other enemies stay dead once killed.
Love and guilt
Libi puts players inside the mind of a hero who believes her actions are justified by love. As she moves through the game, her attempts to save Edan leave more bodies behind, asking players to question whether her choices can still be excused.

Jondob Games describes Libi as a three to four-hour, top-down survival horror game inspired by Middle Eastern culture and real events. Rather than relying on jump scares, the game focuses on psychological horror, guilt and difficult choices.
The game is scheduled to launch in Q2 2027 on PC via Steam, with support planned for Windows, macOS and Linux. It will feature English and Arabic interface text and subtitles, while console versions may follow in the future.

Founded by Mo'tasem Zakarneh, Jondob Games is an independent studio making story-driven games rooted in Middle Eastern culture. Its team came together in 2025 and works across Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt and Sri Lanka.
