Savvy Games Group promotes Shoug Ibrahim to accounting manager
She steps into the role after nearly three years with the company
Steer Studios parent Savvy Games Group has promoted Shoug Ibrahim to accounting manager, stepping up from her senior accountant role after nearly three years with the company.
She joined Savvy in 2023 as a senior accountant, working on-site at the group's Riyadh headquarters. Her promotion to accounting manager takes effect from May 2026.
Before joining Savvy, Ibrahim spent three years and nine months at Lendo, the Saudi SME debt crowdfunding platform, also as a senior accountant.
Earlier roles include treasury accountant positions at Abunayyan Holding and NAFA Enterprises, both based in Riyadh.
Savvy’s expansion
Savvy has been steadily building out its corporate functions as it deepens its position as Saudi Arabia's flagship gaming and esports investment vehicle.
The group is wholly owned by the Public Investment Fund and has deployed billions across acquisitions including Scopely and ESL FACEIT Group, alongside running domestic initiatives such as the recently concluded 'Play to Learn' competition with the Ministry of Education and Roblox.
Internal promotions in finance and accounting functions are worth tracking at a group of Savvy's scale, as they indicate where institutional knowledge is being retained and where the group is investing in long-term operational depth rather than external hires.
