Steer Studios launches new Knowledge Festival speaker series

Steer Studios has launched a new internal speaker series called Knowledge Festival to bring new perspectives and continuous learning to its team.
The Riyadh-based studio said the first session featured Gabriel Pitt, author of Be Present, who discussed how digital habits influence the way people work, create and connect.
The session also explored practical ways to develop healthier relationships with technology, with Steer describing it as the first in what appears to be an ongoing series of talks for its employees.
Continuous learning
The initiative adds another layer to Steer's focus on developing its people as the studio continues to expand its operations in Riyadh.
Steer currently employs more than 80 people, while its wider talent-development efforts include the six-month Elite Internship Programme, which combines training with on-the-job experience and mentorship from senior game developers.
The studio is currently developing its second game, Tom & Jerry Blast, following the release of Grunt Rush.
