Steer Studios has promoted Abdulrahman Alreshidi to intermediate gameplay programmer following his nearly three-year stint as a programmer.

Alreshidi joined the company in 2023 as a gameplay programmer, where he has been responsible for programming game features and creating and improving internal packages.

He noted in his LinkedIn announcement that he had been acting in the intermediate capacity for eight months before the promotion was made official.

Indie roots

Before joining Steer Studios, Alreshidi built a varied background across independent and community game development.

He worked as an independent game developer for over four years, with a focus on gameplay programming and mobile game development, and contributed to Fayfa, a 3D puzzle open-world game, during his time with GameFounders.

He also served as a game development instructor, supporting aspiring developers across the region.
