The Riyadh-based project manager steps into a new production role after three years with the studio
Steer Studios has promoted Arwa Alruzuq to associate producer, marking her first move into a formal production title at the Riyadh-based company.
Alruzuq described the milestone as the result of an incredible journey built alongside her team at Steer.
She joined the studio in 2022 and has spent over three years working across production and project management, most recently serving as producer and team lead, where she oversaw cross-functional teams of 15 or more through full product lifecycle delivery.
A career built across the industry
Before joining Steer, Alruzuq built a varied career spanning software engineering, IT systems analysis, and product leadership.
Earlier in her career, she worked as a programmer at SNK Corporation in Osaka, the legendary Japanese developer behind franchises including Metal Slug and The King of Fighters. The placement, though brief, put her inside one of the most storied studios in gaming history.
Moreover, she previously worked as a product lead at Thakaa AI Center, where she focused on AR and VR motion tracking, and led production on Tom and Jerry Blast, a collaboration with Warner Bros.
