Steer Studios recruits Sami Bakhsh as gameplay programmer
Bakhsh brings both technical depth and a longstanding enthusiasm for the industry to the role
Sami Bakhsh has joined Steer Studios as a gameplay programmer, bringing with him 10 years of game development experience.
Bakhsh arrives from SAMI (Saudi Arabian Military Industries), where he spent two and a half years as a senior software engineer in Riyadh.
Before that, he served at VRMADA as a software engineer, working on XR applications under a contract with SAMI.
A decade in the making
Steer Studios took to LinkedIn to share the appointment, noting Bakhsh brings both technical depth and a longstanding enthusiasm for the industry to the role.
The Savvy Games Group subsidiary operates out of Riyadh and is the developer behind Grunt Rush. The hire adds gameplay programming capacity to the team as the studio continues to grow its production slate.
