Yousef Alotaibi joins ESL FACEIT Group as master planner for Esports World Cup and ENC
The appointment builds on an events career rooted almost entirely in the Kingdom
ESL FACEIT Group has appointed Yousef Alotaibi as event manager and master planner for the Esports World Cup and Esports Nations Cup in Saudi Arabia.
Alotaibi described the role as a significant step in his career, working alongside what he called great teams on some of the most exciting esports platforms in the region.
“This journey has already been a valuable step in my career, working alongside great teams and contributing to one of the most exciting esports platforms in the region," said Alotaibi.
“Grateful for the opportunity, the trust, and the learning so far and looking forward to what's ahead."
Investing in esports talent
The appointment builds on an events career rooted almost entirely in the Kingdom. He previously served as cluster manager for the Islamic Solidarity Games 2025 with Rock Orange.
Before that, he also spent time as an airport manager at Nora Polo, where he oversaw the arrival and departure of 1,500 guests for the Longines Global Champions Tour and Global Champions League.
His background spans Formula 1 and Noor Riyadh, with experience in large-scale stakeholder coordination and on-ground execution across Saudi Arabia's growing events sector.
