Go North gameplay trailer debuts at Six One Indie Showcase ahead of 2026 release
Lagos solo developer gazuntype takes atmospheric maze adventure to PC and Xbox later this year
Lagos-based solo developer gazuntype has unveiled a new gameplay trailer for Go North, its atmospheric maze adventure, at the Six One Indie Showcase.
The title is set to launch on Steam for PC and Xbox Series X|S in Q3 2026, with a Nintendo Switch version to follow at a later date.
Go North puts players in the role of Dara, a lone explorer searching for the Maze God hidden across labyrinthine forests, sky islands, and library corridors. Every path in the game shares one design rule: the exit is always north.
One wish waiting
Players unearth hidden relics and magical technologies along the way, with mechanics including a floating bubble for aerial scouting and a moth-shaped hoverboard for traversal.
The game is built around exploration at the player's own pace, emphasising atmosphere and wonder over urgency. Finding the Maze God grants Dara a single wish.
Gazuntype is the solo project of Lagos-based developer Tade Ajiboye, whose previous work includes the virtual reality title Home VR. Go North is available to wishlist now on Steam.
Go North is listed in the IsaKaba Games Directory.
